The Health Colonel on Eurosport Television: 'Push-ups and Compassion for Our Youth Do Mix.' |
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWeb) February 20, 2007 -- Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein, aka the Health Colonel, who is a fitness beach boot camp instructor and motivational speaker, will be featured on the new Eurosport television show BUZZ in March 2007. The show will air on a Saturday at 7:00 PM with some great footage of his beach boot camp workouts on Fort Lauderdale Beach and interviews with him about how to get strong without a gym and some inspiring words about how to motivate our youth. He is retired from the US Army Reserve with thirty years of service.
Colonel Weinstein was interviewed by JP Mothes, the host of BUZZ about how to motivate and encourage our youth to lead successful and happy lives as well as his tips on weight loss and how to keep those excess pounds off. JP Moss was on Fort Lauderdale Beach in South Florida with his film crew on February 3, 2007 to film Colonel Weinstein's Beach Boot Camp from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM.
Colonel Weinstein: "One of my most important tips about staying fit and keeping that excess weight off is to eliminate all excuses. Excuses are disempowering and cause us to become a victim of our circumstances. They also blind us to the real opportunities that life presents us to be healthy and happy."
"We need to have more focus on helping those around us. As I clearly state at my beach boot camp group classes, no one should wake up and have a 'me day.' A 'me day' simply means that I view the world and my interactions with others primarily focused on me and not on others. A 'me day' is a recipe for unhappiness."
"I work as a volunteer fitness instructor with at risk youth, many of them homeless or runaways. The most important tip I give them to truly be happy in life is to focus on caring for and helping others. There are two main benefits: It raises their self-esteem and it also causes them to no longer focus on their obstacles."
"How do you stick with New Year's resolutions? Be a member of the 10 percent club. Only about 10 percent really stick with any plans or goals implemented. 90 percent give up."

Hosted by JP Mothes, globe trotting French journalist, the show is introducing guests with curiosity and simplicity. Organized like a friendly rendezvous, guests are interviewed by JP in an almost improvised chat, definitely authentic. The shooting takes place in big cities where guests are living to offer the opportunity to meet them on their playground, such as in Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris, Milan, and Shanghai.
