Gatlinburg's Winterfest Celebration transforms the Smoky Mountains mountain resort town of Gatlinburg Tennessee into a spectacular winter wonderland.
From November through February more than three million lights, illuminated chandeliers and animated displays light up the city.
Gatlinburg's Winterfest Kick-Off and Chili Cook-Off will be held on Wednesday, November 8 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Live entertainment by the 1960's soul group The Marvellettes and the soulful blues of the Beat Daddys. For $7 you get a voting ballot and a spoon that enables chili sampling to your heart's desire and a chance to cast your vote for the People's Choice award.
Gatlinburg salutes our American Armed Services at the 4th Annual Veteran's Day Celebration November 11 at 11 a.m. on the Ripley's Aquarium Plaza. A rousing musical tribute in honor of American Veterans will feature the Gatlinburg-Pittman High School Band and the Knoxville Pipe and Drum Band.
Gatlinburg's Festival of Trees at the Gatlinburg Convention Center November 24 and 25, featuring dozens of ornately decorated Christmas trees. Live entertainment is featured daily as you gaze upon ornate trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. The Smoky Mountain Dance Theater Company will perform the Nutcracker "Sweet" at 7 p.m. Admission is free.

The Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade will be held in Downtown Gatlinburg on Friday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy more than 100 parade entries, marching bands, millions of lights and giant helium balloons with special guests Santa Claus and his elves.
Ring in the New Year at the New Year's Eve Ball Drop and Fireworks Show beginning at 11 p.m. and celebrating until 12:30 a.m. on New Year's Day. An estimated crowd of 40,000 gather for a street party including free party favors, hats, tiaras, a fireworks show and live entertainment.
