 I started the taosplaza.com Group of Web
sites in 1997 when I registered taosplaza.com. The site
group logo is the sunflower graphic you see on the left. Other sites
URLs and topical content were added over the years, and I began to call
the group of taos-prefix sites "the taosplaza.com Group of Web sites"
using the sunflower logo as a logo and favicon. In 1999, the site
& URLs, a couple computers, a bunch of copyrights and my
production company were merged into Taos Music & Art, Inc., a
company my wife and I had started in 1992.
Many of our company's Web sites are "spin offs"
of taosplaza.com. For example taoslink.com started out
as a section of taosplaza.com called "taosplaza.com's Link Bookmark
Favorites", in 1998. Later, the data was put at a new URL
(taoslink.com) with a new format.
Since then, the taosplaza.com group of sites has
grown to many URLs and, as of January 2007 126,000+ Web pages.
These sites include:

• Music magazine and associated catalog store specializing in
direct downoad sales of recorded music
• Webcam site for views of sacred Taos Mountain
• 2 very large directory sites reflecting an online database
of over 1,800 genuine Taos Web sites
• Online guides to Taos dining and radio

Feature you would want for any web efforts - extensive
emailing, database, video, information portal, entertainment portal,
advertising distribution to Tens of Thousands of Web pages.
Another really cool part of the operation of our
TMA company's Web site portals is that a "brick & mortar"
operation of a public studio is not necessary. The web
itself (where I work all the time) is actually a huge office
environment. I've had many studio / offices in town since 1989. That's
where my company's Apple computer network was located and where all the
manuals were in the bookcases, ready to be studied and highlighted.
Now, with the New technology, I / we can run tens of thousands of Web
pages from laptops while we're sitting in Wired CyberCafe or Kultur
Cafe or in the plush office of a client.
Another great part of the global reach of my
company is working with people anywhere in the world.
I've worked with people (directly or indirectly) in Russia, England,
Switzerland, India, and several American states in creating these
sites.

photograph of sacred Taos Mountain. There's a new photograph uploaded
every 15-seconds, during daylight hours, 7 days a week. Viewers can see
a very full-featured "best of " photo gallery of around 500 photographs
of sacred Taos Mountain taken from 2004 until the present time, as well
as a "shop for webcam" page. The taoswebcam.com site has a directory of
webcams in Northern New Mexico, featuring Taos Ski Valley, Angel Fire,
