Animation Logistics: Finishing and Delivery |
Animation is noticeably different from other narrative forms in that one usually edits before going into production, by using the process – if not always the procedure itself – of storyboarding all or part of the sequences that are more difficult to visualize or orchestrate. There is nothing wrong with using the same animation package for this planning stage, which in practice gives origin to the thriving industry of ?PreVis? or Pre-Visualizing, a technique through which animation and live-action shoots are planned and polished.
