Back in March Blizzard released patch 2.4 and significantly altered a good portion of the overall gameplay and provided a much more casual experience. Since then Blizzard has continued to make the game more approachable through new dungeons and removing attunements and other restrictions throughout the game. While this may open up a lot of new content to the masses and help the game's overall appeal, does this continuing trend promise to alienate the high-end players who thrive on new challenges? Should Blizzard care?

Attacked-by-gremlins writes "I have a larger family and various items in the house (some tools, some pieces of clothing) 'travel' unexpectedly. We joke about gremlins doing that, but it's tiring never to be sure that I'll find an object where I left it two days ago. For the sheer hacking fun of it, I'm thinking of sticking RFID tags on some and trying to triangulate a position with several tranceivers placed in the house. Has anyone have any suggestions for this amateur 'Google Home'? Thanks."

There's one thing about small businesses that will always be true. We have few resources. Expertise in a narrow arrow (for the most part). Very little time. Limited budgets. When eating at a dinner table, we don't lick other people's fingers. When introducing a guest we don't smack them in the head. But sometimes when we communicate with others via fax, email or phone we are not communicating clearly. Sometimes this lack of communication is simply an inconvenience for the receiver of our communication at other times we can do damage or lose money.
I received a fair number of phone calls and often times the caller speak so fast I can't get their name or their telephone number. They don't get a call back.
When using email "Many times we use email to replace what would have been a note, memo, or letter. In using email, make sure it looks professional. For example, what you send might be printed out and be distributed to other people.... |
