Channel Computing of Penryn, Cornwall UK, have gone live with a new site for client The HypnoBirthing Centre , using Joomla 1.5.2 Stable, and the latest integration with Freeway Opensource eCommerce platform. Freeway was selected because of its online events booking and scheduling system, but its fair to say that aspects of the integration are still a work in progress, so there are still a few niggles to iron out.
The site uses as its foundation the nice template redevo-aphelion by redevolution.com, from the Joomla 1.5 template competition, a bit of a favourite of Channel Computing at present with its resizing, accessibility considerations and colour variations built in. 1.5. Joom!Fish 2.0 is an enhanced and native implemented extension
using the Joomla! 1.5 framework. It incorporates with the Joomla! 1.5
legacy mode for other extensions as well as the native integration.
The current implementation is 95% feature completed and already once
tested by all our contributors and donators. However we recommend not
using this version for a productive website yet. After this Beta the
Joom!Fish team will release an Release Candidate and then the stable
