For the first time ever, football fans will be able to download video highlights of the Super Bowl, and they will be offered exclusively through Apple's online iTunes Store.
The National Football League said Tuesday it will make highlights from Sunday's game available for purchase online the following day. The download, in English or Spanish, will cost $1.99 and will be viewable on computers or iPods. A 90-minute video of the NFL's coverage of the Super Bowl will also be sold for $1.99.

The enabler allows Intel Core 2 Duo Macs to take advantage of 802.11n wireless networking with devices like the new AirPort Extreme Base Station and other 802.11n-compatible products. Apple is set to launch its online video sales service in the Europe this spring with Luxembourg as its base of operations, said Jeannot Krecke, the country's economy minister. It is not clear which European countries will receive the service, but what is clear is that Krecke's Tuesday comments revealed Apple's plans. "Apple is going to extend its electronic retail activities in Luxembourg by launching this coming spring its iTunes video platform for the sale of videos in Europe," Krecke said.
